What is a fanlisting?

A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject. For this fanlisting, the subject is StepMania (SM).

What is StepMania?

StepMania is a free dance and rhythm game, just like Dance Dance Revolution or In The Groove. You select your difficulty and song, then you play the game by stepping on the corresponding arrow whenever it touches to the top of the screen. Sounds complicated? Why StepMania?

I've been a fan/player of DDR for quite sometime, and I liked the concept of StepMania. It's basically DDR except with your fingers. Sounds dorky, but it does simulate DDR/ITG/other dancing and rhythm games.

Fanlisting History

Step It Up! is a fanlisting dedicated to StepMania. The website opened in July 28, 2008, and run by Merinn. The logo/design concept used in this layout was inspired by the official StepMania website. The script used to run this fanlisting is Bellabuffs, created by Jem.
