In the past 2 weeks…

I have done a lot. I’m sorry that I have nothing interesting, controversial, entertaining, etc. to talk about but my life within the past two weeks. If you were in my shoes you’d either be bored or have a challenge on your hands. The extremes of either one are not fun at all.

Once again, a list form for those of you who are overly curious to find out what the heck I’ve been doing:

  1. I ditched for the very first time in my last period of the day last friday. Oh yes, I am a rebel.
  2. I dropped physics honors, and the teacher gave me crap for it. He tells me that I’ll be a failure, but if you’re the teacher who won’t even stay after school to help the student, who’s the failure now?
  3. I’ll be heading to Zion Ponderosa Park, located in Utah this weekend. Going outdoors to camp is totally the opposite of what I like to do for fun, but it’s a nice break from the traditional city life, and a chance to have fun with my choir buddies. =]
  4. Turning off my laptop is an amazing way to help me manage my time better.

For once it looks like I’m having a real life filled with work and social time. As for Kamikraze, well…we’ll see what happens.

I feel as if I’m going through my “blogger” phases, but that’s another blog for another time. Maybe I should move all these small “asides” to a Tumblr.; what do you think?

Ahh~ Your going to a Park with your music buddies. That sounds like fun. :) I sure miss having orchestra now.

Tumblr? That seems pretty nice and easy. For the small things, I usually just use twitter though.

I used to sleep with my laptop right next to me and it was on sleep mode… Bad, bad idea!

And yay for you for having the courage to drop Honors Physics! Heck, I never even took Physics in high school

I went through most of my life with my laptop on, and about thirty feet away from my bed. Then…I realized the magic of the power button, like you did. But of course, it finds its way back on.

Lol. Hit it up for the Rebel without a cause :) I used to really hate teachers that wanted you to stay in their class and not complain about them, when they were useless and never wanted to help. Particularly when it was the advanced classes, because it was almost like being set up to fail…

I had never heard of Tumblr - looks cute though. I’m thinking of shifting blog again as well (although I just renewed my domain, so who knows…). I like things you can customise but you don’t have to think too much about.

I agree with you on the last one. Turning it off really helps. The internet is a huge distraction to me. I’m always logging on to MSN or Facebook to see if any of my friends are online. Enjoy the weekend. :-)

Your theme is so neat and quaint. I love it.

I used to cut class alll the time. That’s not advice I’m giving you though, lol.

Tsk, tsk you bad girl! :P Just don’t make it a habit. Depending on the subject, it can be a real bummer trying to make up for it (get the coursework, understand it etc etc).

The teacher had a really sucky attitude. I assume that it doesn’t look good on him/her if people drop his/her subject, but insulting the student who dropped it certainly doesn’t help. Besides, I always sucked at Physics, and I certainly don’t consider myself as a failure considering everything. :P

Oh yes… no computer. I did it during my holiday to Greece. It’s amazing how much more time I had. You know: an entire day.

Have fun at the Park :)

Sorry to hear about the physics class. Hopefully things turn out better.

Ooh, I remember the first time EVER I skipped class… I was a nervous wreck, heh. I was such a goody two-shoes back then, LOL.
