Extreme Room Makeover
I got this idea from the other day by watching re-runs of Room Raiders late in the morning. It made me wonder, “If someone were to raid my room, would I seem like a boring or childish person?” Presented below are pictures of my (boring) room, and since my parents won’t let me paint it any other color besides the boring old white I have, I wonder what I should do to make it more “unique”.
I blurred out all the pictures of me because what I look like is my (not-so) little secret.
My cellphone camera isn’t the best, so forgive me if the pictures are lacking in quality.

The stuffed animal on my bed was given to me from my lovely BFF.

With my dresser I can play Soul Calibur 3 and check my make-up at the same time!

My floor isn’t that dirty. It’s the lighting, I swear!

More random crap…

I bet I have more stuffed animals than you do!

My closet door has been broken since I was 7, but I assure you I can get things out of my closet just fine.
Ugh…too much white. And stuffed animals. I haven’t exactly had time nor interest to “decorate” my room to how I want it, but I figure that I need to make this place look visually appealing since I’m going to be in here for the next nine months focusing most of my time on schoolwork. (Which reminds me…I need to start school shopping too.)
So anyways, does anyone have any ideas for a more “visually” appealing room? I’m a fan of bright colors and abstract shape designs. You know, like the average teenager of today.

Hmmm, I quite like the white of your bedroom. It makes everything look clean and tidy. The only thing I’d probably say is that your room is small, so having all those stuffed animals around makes it look really crowded. Maybe display just your favourite ones and then put the others into storage?
Good luck with your bedroom.

Your bedroom looks quite pretty as it is, I think.. But if you think the white is too boring, I would say: paint one of the walls in a different very bright colour. Maybe some apple-green or red, yellow even!
, so it might work for you to paint just one wall a different colour)
And possibly a rug in a complementary colour on the floor? I don’t know…. I always like the idea of one wall being different from the rest (I have it in my room: 3 of my walls are salmon coloured, and one is a chocolate brown. It looks very nice together.. the contrast compliments both colours.

Argh, i’m not really good at designing my room either..
my parents won’t allow us to make any whole in our room.
maybe you can put frames in your room, posters and such if you want to hide the all white paint …
sorry, i’m not a big help eh?

I don’t think your bedroom is boring or plain. It’s quite lovely as it is and reminds me of mine with the stuffed animals. Since you like bold colors and abstract designs maybe you can purchase some paintings for your room to spruce it up? At least in that way you’ll add a personal touch to it.

O__O did we felt like cleaning our room at the same time or something? XD Thats funny
Your bed room looks entertaining. I mean, atleast there are stuff to do in your bedroom. Mine has only Manga… Yes Manga!!
And about your plain white wall… hmmm maybe you can re-paint your room? I’m planning to buy alot of random posters to fill my room. My room is white and boring too. Hahaha
